The Gaylads – ABC Rocksteady [1968] (Gayfeet)

While listening to the mixtape “Tales From Jamdown” mixed by the Fellas Galore, I came across this lovely Rocksteady song performed by The Gaylads. Here, the trio formed by Harris Seaton, Winston Delano Stewart and Maurice Roberts, sings about love in a playful way. The chorus is as simple as a nursery rhyme. This makes it easy to get stuck in your mind.Overall “ABC Rocksteady” is a really nice and cheerful Rocksteady single that was released in 1968, under the label Gayfeet. More recently, in 2014, it has been rejuvenated by Tarrus Riley on his latest Reggae album titled “Love Situation”. It is such a sweet and smooth Rocksteady song, I hope you’ll like it.
