U Brown, born Huford Brown in 1956, has been a significant Reggae Deejay during the late 70’s and the 80’s. He was heavily influenced by U-Roy. He began his career in the Silver Bullet Sound System. And later on, in 1975, he replaced U-Roy in King Tubby‘s Hi-Fi System. The same year, Bunny Lee produced, and released his debut album “Satta Dread.” Ever since, he’s released many more albums such as “Repatriation” produced by Hit Sound, and “Raver’s Party,” produced by Trojan Records, just to name a few.The Jamaican deejay will be performing at the Mélomane Club in Montpellier, France on January 11th, 2018.
