Mafia & Fluxy – Mafia & Fluxy Remembers King Tubby’s King of Dub
The UK duo of producers Mafia & Fluxy pays tribute to the legendary Jamaican sound engineer Osbourne Ruddock, best known as King Tubby, with a new album mixed by The Pharmacist.
Yabby You & The Aggrovators – King Tubby’s Prophecies of Dub (Pressure Sound)
Pressure Sound releases “King Tubby’s Prophecies of Dub” by The Prophets, Yabby You & The Aggrovators, produced by Bunny “Striker” Lee, and mixed by Pat Kelly at King Tubby‘s studio. The Californian record label Hen House Studios releases Ras Michael‘s 27th studio album titled “Live by the Spirit”.
Mikey Spice – Are You Ready (Pro Production Entertainment)
Mikey Spice releases a brand-new album titled “Are You Ready” under Pro Production Entertainment‘s label.
Vybz Kartel – To Ganesha (Short Boss Muzik)
Vybz Kartel‘s highly anticipated album, “To Tanesha” has been released in January. The 10-track project features other acts such as Jada Kingdom, Sikka Rymes, Jesse Royal, and more. “To Tanesha” debuted at #3 on the iTunes hip-hop chart (Source: Zojak).

On February 14th, 2020, the iconic label Studio One has re-issued the 2 first volumes (1972 & 1974) of the out-of-print Reggae compilation “Jamaica All Stars”.

Linval Thompson releases the various-artist compilation “Got to Get It” featuring Luciano, Half Pint, Nadia McAnuff, Benjamin, and King Forris.

SenYAcum releases a various-artist Dub Poetry compilation featuring acts such as Mutabaruka, Benjamin Zephanya, Jean Binta Breeze, on productions by musicians of the likes of Sly & Robbie, Roots Radics, and more.

Giddimani Records releases various-artist compilation “Black Eye Story,” featuring Perfect, Randy Valentine, King Mas, and more.

French producer Marshall Neeko releases various-artist compilation “Pull It Up Again,” featuring Yami Bolo, Yenor Youthman, Austin James, and more, under his record label Idlers Corner Records.

Lutan Fyah – Touch Di Road (Oneness Records)
Luton Fyah collaborated with Moritz von Korff (bass) and Gregory “Daddy Zigo” Mavridorakis (drums) of Dub Inc amongst others, in order to pull off an 8-track EP titled “Touch di Road,” released under Oneness Records.
Perfect Giddimani – Abatachin Hoy (Giddimani Records)
Perfect Giddimani releases “Abatachin Hoy,” which is a four track project including vocals across the catchy “Stink Panther Riddim.” “Our Fathers” prayer is the title track, which is translated to “Abatachin Hoy” in amharic. After checking out this EP, also watch out for the “Stink Panther Riddim” that will be out later this year, featuring other artists.
Richie Spice – World War (Tad’s Record Inc.)
“World War” is a 4-track EP by Richie Spice. The title track was first released in 2018 as a single with its dub version (More info on: ReggaeRecord.com). Fans of Yami Bolo may recognise the flow of the 1991 single “The Glock War, Gun War.”

Macka B – Cucumba To Di World (Peckings Records)
UK-based deejay Macka B releases the fresh “Cucumber to di World,” under Peckings Records’s label. Mack B‘s music has always carried an educational message. Apart from spreading the traditional messages of Rastafarism, he also teaches about the benefits of a healthy, and ital diet in songs such as “Too Much Chicken,” and “Bick Mack.”
Oku Onuora & Natty Congo Crew – Yanga (Natty Congo Records)
Dub Poet Oku Onuora teamed up with Mexican label Natty Congo to produce his latest single “Yanga.”
Samory I ft. Karbon & Bunny Rugs – Run Away (Xtm Nation)
Samory I & Karbon pays tribute to Bunny Rugs with a new single titled “Run Away,” featuring vocals of the former leader of Third World. The song was voiced on a recut of the 1975’s single “Run Come Rally” by Vivian Jones aka Yabby You & The Prophets, recorded at the Black Ark Studio (Source: Upsetter Riddim).
