Skarra Mucci drops brand-new album titled “Greater Than Great” under Undisputed Records @ Rawkaz Clan music label

Skarra Mucci brings forth his Spring 2014 release, Greater Than Great. With a large sound, Skarra brings some new styles to some big riddims, encompassing a plethora of multigenre sounds throughout the album, it is sure to have something to interest most all interests. Ranging from a dancehall sound to some tuff roots tunes all utilizing a variety of interesting samples and effects on the production. A big boom bap sound comes off these tunes as Skarra Muccidelivers some lyrical madness.

The album has a diverse selection of vibes, with Greater than Great, Impossible, and Come Fi Take Ova starting off the album with a loud dancehall ragga sound. The poppy bassline in Love Train (Ft. Alex) holds it down while a real positive message is brought through the music. These catchy basslines are a standard throughout the musical diversity of the album, and this is shown again in Boxing. With a dancehall tribute to the herbs next, Skarra pronounces his love for his girl Marihuana. Perfect Giddimanicomes forth in the next tune to nice up the place and proclaim di Champion Sound.

Teacha Deeis featured over the Swing Heavy Riddim, remake of the classic roots riddim Swing Easy, in Forward Inna Di Dance. Coming next is a big lyrical tune that makes you wanna move your feet, Life So Rich is chock full of a catchy beat and great lyrics. Dancehall Energy and Mr. Pleasure Get Gyal are both dance tunes warming the stage for War Dem Get, where Skarra Mucci comes hard. Teacha Dee joins in again on another herbs tribute titled RED. The biggest tune comes next, Skarra brings the song My Sound. With its sampled singing chorus taken from After Laughter Comes Tears made famous by Wendy René and profound confidence, this tune is on the top of this year. This song really completes the album and I couldn’t stop nodding when this one drop. “My sound ah Champion we nuh fraid ah nobody” Skarra sings in his first verse. Pull dis one up again and get ready for Tear Drops Featuring Alex & Mandinka, where Skarra spits “Forget about the politician deh, just put yourself in line” and a harmony singing in the chorus, warming it up for the tenor sound of Mandinka. The album ends with Bubbler, a piano ridden dancehall riddim off the Seatbelt riddim, where Skarra big up the real gyals.
