The “Dutty Landlord Riddim”, produced by Fip, is a 16-track various artist Dancehall compilation that was released in 2005. It features Sizzla, Mr Vegas, Harry Toddler, Aidonia, Mr Lexx, Vybz Kartel and many more.
Its uptempo rhythm and catchy guitar riff will highly likely get you out of your chair and move to the beat. Besides, it includes different styles of songs. For instance, there are some gyal tunes like “Meet This Shorty” by Voicemail or “Get Gal Easy” by Mr Lexx. But it also features socially-aware tracks like “Landlord” by Vybz Kartel, which deals with the issue of poor housing conditions.
