Bug Riddim [1999] (Madhouse)

bug riddim mad house records

Madhouse Records presents the “Bug Riddim,” released in 1999

A dark mesmerizing riddim

The “Bug Riddim,” produced by Dave Rudeboy” Kelly for Madhouse Records,  is quite a unique riddim in its genre. It is characterised by a dark mesmerizing synth in the chorus, and a high-pitched monotonous quickly picked guitar. As described, one can imagine that this riddim will sound weird. Maybe it does. It sounds dark, and deep.

A good line-up

It was produced by Madhouse Records in 1999. It features Frisco Kid, Spragga Benz, Beenie Man, Shaggy, Lady Saw, Frankie Sly, and more (Click here to view track list).

If you have never heard it before, I recommend you check out Bounty Killer‘s scathing hit “Look”. You can click here to preview the riddim.
