#Throwback of the week: Police In Helicopter Riddim, tribute to John Holt
The “Police In Helicopter Riddim”, released in 2007, is a remake of the 1981 “Police In Helicopter” juggling produced by Henry “Junjo” Lawes. That mythic riddim featured a single of the same name performed by Reggae legend John Holt who recently passed away.
The “Police In Helicopter Riddim” has been remade a couple of times as compilations and singles during the past decades. This 2007 release, produced by Marvyn Williams & Mervyn Williams, features Sizzla, Chuck Fenda, Anthony B, Mikey General and many more.
