This Thursday, let’s go back to the beginning of the millenium with the “Down By The River Riddim”
Today marks the launch of the 30th edition of the annual festival “Reggae On The River”, which somehow reminded me of the song “By The Rivers” made famous by Melodians and then “Down By The River Riddim”. The latter was produced by Jamaican Reggae music label Fat Eyes Records and features a nice palette of artists including Jimmy Riley, Morgan Heritage, Freddie McGregor, Mikey General, talented sax player Dean Fraser, and more.
