5 Reggae tribue songs to Nelson Mandela #FlashbackFriday

This #FlashbackFriday, let’s celebrate Nelson Mandela’s birthday with a couple of Reggae tribute songs

For this #FlashbackFriday, I have chosen to share with you 5 Reggae tribute songs in honor of Nelson Mandela. A father, leader, a freedom fighter, a man with great ambitions, a HERO.

Born and raised in South Africa, a country torn apart by racial segregation and discrimination, he became one of the most influential politics in the world who advocated for equal rights an justice between black and white.

Nelson Mandela‘s long walk to freedom allowed him to be ranked to the same status as emblematic figures who played an important role in black history such as Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr, Marcus Garveyand many more.

His efforts were recognized worldwide and inspired generations in South Africa and all around the world. This is the reason why, people from Soweto were in great sorrow when Nelson Mandela passed away last year. Therefore, today I think it would be nice to share with you are 5 Reggae tracks in tribute to Nelson Mandela to celebrate his 96th birthday.
