Dingazz Music presents “Your Magic” by Barrington featuring Leroy Mafia
The UK-based duo of brothers Miss Tun Pickney has recently released “Your Magic”. A single performed by Barrington in collaboration with Leroy Mafia. Even though, this mid-tempo Lovers Rock Reggae song is an original production crafted by Miss Tun Pickney, its main chord progression is very classic. It kind of reminds me of the first part of Woman No Cry‘s —Bob Marley‘s hit single— chord progression.
In my opinion, even though the melody of the riddim sounds nice, it lacks of groove. It’s missing that spark that makes you want to rock all night long to a great Lovers Rock Riddim. It’s still a fair riddim though. Lyrically, there is not much to say about it. It is a love song and Barrington‘s smooth voice and flow are perfectly suited for this type of songs.
Watch out for their next release “Point of View”, which will also feature Leroy Mafia.
