Crisis – Jahmeake Ma Thoth

MSF Music presents “Crisis” by Jahmeake Ma Thoth

Jahmeake Ma Thoth delivers a deeply conscious track, produced by MSF Music, in collaboration with Seventh Trumpet Production. In the single “Crisis”, the Rastafarian Reggae artist intents to raise awareness about the critical economic situation of Jamaica. Jahmeake Ma Thoth‘s tenor voice slightly breaks when he tries to hit higher notes. Nevertheless, his voice perfectly conveys his empathy for the poor people who struggle everyday to make both ends meet. In his song, he indirectly describes the struggle people face everyday due to the increasing poverty and denounces the indecent behavior of politics, who only aspire to become more powerful and wealthier. The riddim is very well produced as well. If you’ve never heard of Jahmeake before, I recommend you to check out this single. It’s very good. Also watch out for his debut album “Base Metal” due to be released this year.

I heard a lot of things are taking place. […] Yet the food no reach poor people’s plate. […] Politicians them only a run rat race. […] That is a crisis. Poor people a suffer and bawl. All we get is high prices.
