Sizzla Kalonji starts 2017 with “I’m Yours”, a brand-new Dancehall x House crossover single, produced by Jon FX. At the very first measures, it sounds like one of Sean Paul‘s latest Dancehall Pop song. If you prefer the conscious side of Sizzla or his typical hardcore Dancehall style, you might not enjoy this song too much.
However, it’s a pretty nice love song. Even though, it might be full of sappy love songs clichés, such as “What we got is personal. I say I’ll never hurt you girl. Never ever make you cry…”. The song definitely has a strong commercial potential. It’ll surely get a lot of airplays on European radios and in the clubs.
