Eghe Nimose – RumbaDub [2022]

On October 31st, 2022, Nigerian artist Eghe Nimose released a self-produced EP titled “RumbaDub,” under the french label Miracle World Entertainment (MWE).

“Fiekun,” for which Eghe Nimose unveiled a new music video last week, and “Allergic” are radically different, but both sound dancefloor-oriented.

On the other hand, “No Play,” featuring SOJ Da Legend, has more of an old-school vibe. Fans of the early 90’s Dancehall music, will probably recognize the influence of the “Champion Lover Riddim” on the production.

This 5-track project is definitely not the EP of the year. Nevertheless, one has to note the effort Eghe Nimose put in to deliver songs on some original self-made productions.
