The “Journey Riddim”, produced by Danger Zone in 2008, is a Morn Reggae Roots compilation featuring variou artists like Anthony B, Cécile, Frisch Kid, and more.It includes tracks recorded by major and well renowned artists. Nevertheless, an incredible line-up isn’t enough to make an average riddim sound terrific. It’s by far not the worst but it surely isn’t the best Nu Roots riddim of all time.Unfortunately, the synth strings do not fit in well in the overall riddim. And in my opinion, most of the best Reggae music is recorded with live instruments whereas the “Journey Riddim” sounds a bit too digital.Hopefully, you will like it and/or you are looking for it.
