King MAS releases new EP entitled “Walk Like A Champion”

This talented young rising star with a voice as smooth as silk is on his way to shine even brighter. As part of the Bantu Nation Movement and in collaboration with Nature’s Way Entertainment, Reggae artist King MAS has just dropped a new EP entitled “Walk Like A Champion”, which consists of a main single of the same name declined in different versions. Indeed, this single is a cover of the 1994 Buju Banton‘s single “Walk Like a Champion” produced by Penthouse Records. On an R’n’B-flavored beat underpinned by a delicately strummed guitar blended in a set of soft synth strings and piano, the vocals of King MAS and his comrades Ray Keys and Varren Wade  falls perfectly into place. Lyrically speaking, unlike many other Dancehall songs, King MAS does not limit his rhymes to the description of the physical attributes of a woman. He portrays a strong and intelligent rastafari woman who does not only look good but is also proud of her African descent and stands her ground.

“Intellectually girl you have di ting lock. […] Nah fi show chest nor bottom. Love how you meds stand, heights weh you deh pon. Empress come in me have the love weh you a wait pon.”

This EP is the first release coming out of this new camp entitled “Walk Like A Champion” which will be included on the upcoming album with Nature’s Way Ent. (Rasta Evolution Pt. 1: OURstory). The  single is now available for purchase on digital outlets such as iTunes. Get your copy now.
