Protoje drops Ska-oriented single “Answer To Your Name”
Protoje releases “Answer To Your Name”, a ska influenced track produced by Winta James in collaboration with Lewis Planter. This brand-new single, to be featured on his highly anticipated third studio album “Ancient Future”, is like throwback. Protoje brings us back to the 70’s, in the heart of Brixton. He sings the story of a man desperately chasing a girl who ignores him.
“1971 inna England. Fresh off the plane to my dame inna Brixton. […] Girl, why won’t you answer to your name? […] I know you see me and you know I see you too.”
