Soul “Doki” Dr reacts to the Paris attacks with brand-new single entitled “Terror Ina Paris”
In response to the recent terrorist attacks of Paris, french Dancehall deejay Soul “Doki” Dr, releases a new single entitled “Terror Ina Paris”. It is not the first time that Doki reacts to such events throughout music. Earlier this year, the artist expressed his concerns about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in a song titled “Palestine“.In order to spread his tribute to the victims of Paris attacks more easily, Doki also released a lyric video, illustrated by Nicolas “Bello” Belloni, translated in french.The commitment of the artist and his attachment to his country is touching. The beat, produced by Reverse Side, which he voiced sounds quite decent. It’s sad and melancholic. Somehow, I like the changing of pace and the increasing tension there is during the chorus, when Doki describes the violence of the attack. Nevertheless, I think that Doki has some troubles to hold tune. The rhythm of his flow also needs some adjustments.
