New Planet Records presents “System Set Away” by Stein
Jamaican artist Stein delivers a new Dancehall track produced by New Planet Records entitled “System Set Away”. In this track, Stein deals with the corrupted political system of the Jamaica government, which greatly affects the daily life of the middle and lower classes.The song is voiced on a rather dark Modern Dancehall riddim. During the bridge and the chorus, a harp is played in a fast celtic/Irish style that is reminiscent of the sonorities you hear in the 2007 “Swazzi Riddim”.Overall, it’s a fairly decent track. The riddim is alright and Stein brings up an important matter to which anyone can relate to, even if you do not live in Jamaica, since a large majority of the world faces politics corruption and the economical crisis.DOWNLOAD
