The new wave of acts bridging the gap. SagiTaurus

SagitaurusAs time goes by the aim is to always remain relevant. That’s if you’re musician, an athlete, an entertainer. Just as long as you can push the boundaries then thats what you are here for. All these great words coming from a young man that is also early in his musical journey and career. Let me introduce singer/songwriter  SagiTaurus from St. Mary Jamaica. This parish is known for coffee, the beautiful Castleton Royal Botanical Gardens and acts like Capleton, Munga Honorable, Teflon and many more stars.

Nicholas Grant was born in a small community known as Mango Valley. The young Nicholas focused mainly on his passion which was entertainment and found all manner of ways to be entertaining and being a jovial character around friends and family. This artist’s sound is heavily influenced by Reggae and Dancehall with minor influence from R&B as well. SagiTaurus gathers inspiration from an array of artist such as Luciano, Chronixx, Movado, and Usher. He has also strong musical ties with his father who has always encouraged him to go after his dreams and exposed him to various artist and their styles.
SagiTaurus made his first professional debut with the single “Legalize”. Thus far he has been an independent artist. His aim is make a solid team that can combat the stresses that young acts go through. “I want to be prepared, so with each step I add personnel and knowledge to the team”, something the artist repeats a few times. With a diverse selection of songs from “Babygirl” providing a melodic sound to other singles like  “Cawn Dem” which portrays or carry that original hardcore dancehall feel. With an EP on the way this rising star is multifaceted and has a lot to bring to the dancehall/ reggae scene.
We here at Jamworld876 look at these young acts like SagiTaurus to push the boundaries of Reggae and Dancehall. We expect to hear a lot more singles and the EP that’s on it’s way. Go take a listen and follow this young act.
