Throwback of the week: Fever Riddim, 1988 (Request)
This weekend, enjoy the late 80’s Dancehall compilation “Fever Riddim”, featuring Courtney Melody, Sanchez, Ninja Man, Johnny P, Flourgon and many more. This riddim does not sound like the 70’s Horace Andy‘s Ska cut, “Fever”, produced by Studio 1.
It’s a regular Dancehall riddim that doesn’t really stand out in comparison to what was released at the same period. It’s an uptempo riddim, with a skanking piano riff. The line-up is pretty good. You may click here to view the full track list.
In the package you can download below, some of the tracks were produced by Philip “Fatis” Burrel, for his label record: Xterminator and the rest by Lloyd “Pickout” Dennis.
Check it out. Share and comment if you like it.
