Lockecity Music Group presents the “Good Love Riddim”
Lockecity Music Group releases the “Good Love Riddim”. A remake of the classic “Stalag Riddim”, featuring Sizzla, Beenie Man, Harry Toddler, Tony Curtis and many more.
The “Stalag Riddim” has been remade more than once ever since it has been released. It’s such a classic, it has even been interpreted in other genre than Reggae Dancehall, such as mainstream Hip Hop. Earlier this year, Kat Deluna released a terrible cover of “What A Bam Bam” on a remake of the Stalag in collaboration with Trey Songz.
Lockecity‘s version is not that bad. The riddim sounds pretty good actually. The fading sample of horns in the intro instantly reminds you of the original cut. The artists did a good job too. Artists like New Kidz toasted in old school style and fashion. Bling Dawg covered the 90’s tune “Cabin Stabbin”, originally performed by Supercat, Necka Demus and Junior Demus.
The riddim is worth a listen. Check it out. Share and comment if you like it.
