Irie Sounds International presents the “Palestine Riddim”
Irie Sounds International comes forth with a new Roots Reggae project titled the “Palestine Riddim”. It is an interesting compilation, which mainly features socially and politically-charged tracks.
On the very first track, Warrior King shows support for controversial Gambian president Yahya Jammeh. Then, Bugle shares deep thoughts on tolerance in the track “Choice Is Yours”. Rocker T denounces injustice in the song “Shame & Sorrow”. And, Yami Bolo drops “Jah Is In His Kingdom”, which is as spiritually-oriented as it is socially-aware.
On the other hand, it also features a few lighthearted tracks. For instance, “Soul Skank” by President Brown is a track in which he incites people to rejoice. Then, Taniel sings about how irresistible her man with “Rude Eyes” is.
